The Friends of Winter Park Dog Park is a non-profit organization partnered with the City of Winter Park, dedicated to the care and maintenance of Lake Baldwin Dog Park for the enjoyment of the entire community — and to help educate and advance the welfare of all animals.

Yes! Lake Baldwin Park is the only park in Winter Park designated as "dog-friendly" where dogs may be off-leash during park hours. However, dogs must be leashed when entering and leaving the park, including in the parking lot. Dogs must remain within voice range and under the owner's control at all times.
Yes, the park has a small dog area with access to running water. It is intended for dogs under 35 pounds but is open to all. Please ask other pet owners if it is okay to bring larger dogs into the small dog area prior to entry.

As a registered non-profit, we gratefully accept donations to maintain and improve the park. You can donate through this website, volunteer for park clean-up events, or attend community events. Every contribution makes a difference.

Park Rules

All visitors must follow these rules. Violations can result in fines and/or permanent loss of park privileges.

🌳Lake Baldwin Park is a designated "Dog Friendly" park. All owners must abide by park rules upon entry.
🚶Owners must not leave the park without their dogs.
🚫Professional dog walkers, trainers, and groomers shall not conduct business in the park.
⚠️Dogs shall not harm humans, other dogs, or wildlife.
🗑️Dispose of all pet waste and trash in receptacles (City Ordinance 18-44).
🦮Dogs allowed off-leash inside the fenced area only. Must be leashed in parking lot and at entry/exit.
📣Dogs must be within voice range and under owner's control at all times.
🚻Dogs are not allowed in restrooms.
🐶Puppies under four months old are prohibited from the park.
